COVID-19 means that we’re all putting off many things, however, your appointment is not just for us to check your vision, it is also an important check of your eye health.Click here to see our COVID19 policy

Coronavirus (COVID-19) customer notice:

Following advice from UK Public Health Bodies, please do not book or attend an appointment if you have recently started to experience the most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • new continuous cough
  • and/or high temperature.

If you have these symptoms, however mild, Public Health Bodies are advising that you stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started.

We kindly ask that you follow Public Health Body instruction and delay your appointment until this time has passed. If you feel that your eye appointment is an emergency please contact NHS 111 who will direct you to a regional center who can provide the eye care, in an environment equipped to manage the infection control risks.

You do not need to call NHS 111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days, contact NHS 111 online. If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111 or if you’re in Northern Ireland, 0300 200 7885. For a medical emergency dial 999.

At BROMLEY EYE CENTRE we are trying to take all necessary steps to reduce the risk of infection for our customers and employees.
